The hydraulic pump of Hoyer classic manual lift HML400 with a 6-point cradle is positioned for convenience of usage. Rotation of the pump handle lets the operator run the lifter from either side. Wheelchairs and other furniture may be accessed more easily by modifying the “U” formed base. The HML400 is readily broken down for storage.
